He is survived by: his children, Cindy Krumsieg (Dan), Dawn Sagstetter (Mark), Greg Lieder (Tracy), Kim Heinrich (John) and Eric Lieder (Maribeth); his grandchildren, Cory Lieder, Matthew Heinrich, Curtis Sagstetter (Rachel), Brandon Lieder (Rosie), Jonathan Krumsieg (Kaelyn), Brady Lieder, Christopher Sagstetter, Abigail Heinrich, Theodore Lieder and Eleanor Lieder; his great grandchild Charles Sagstetter; and his child Gaylerd.

Gaylerd requested any charitable donations be made to Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church or West Lutheran High School.
