It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Erling Bergquist of Buffalo, Minnesota, who passed away on August 31, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Bergquist and Lydia Bergquist (Ordorff); his siblings, Gloria and Bennie; his parents-in-law, John, Gertrude Posthumus, Norman Splettstoeszer, Betty Lou Bergquist, Ione, Warren Anderson, Myron Johnson and Max Dixon; his son-in-law David Ward; Alan Wermerskirchen.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Mae Posthumus; his children, Dawn Thrift (Tim), Denise Ward, Carrie Olsgard, Bradley Bergquist (Kathy Cole), Jeffrey Bergquist, Candace Pella (Paul) and Daphne Rued (Tim); his grandchildren, Megan Tackmann (Nicholas), Heidi Schminski (Brian), Christine Smith (Michael), Rebecca Thrift, Charles Thrift (Bibiana Hassan), Sherri Forcier (Travis), Christopher Griffin, Allyson Flynn (Orlando), Devin Miszkiewicz, Michael Bergquist (Kristin), Jordan Adams, Tyler Bergquist, Rachel Pella (Alex Underwood), Joshua Pella, Nicholas Pella (Amy), Angela Bergquist, Anthony Rued and Alexander Rued; his great grandchild Snookie; his sisters, Darleen Cardinal (Willis) and Harriet Splettstoeszer; and his sisters-in-law, Betty Johnson, Ruthann Dixon and Karen Larson (Dick). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
