He is survived by: his siblings, Bob Ferris, Jack Ferris, Edna, Bill Dawson and Joan Berg; his children, James (Stacy Ferris Jr.), Scott (Sandi Ferris), Shelly Ferris and Chad Ferris; his great grandchildren, Krista, David, Naveah and Tyson Ferris; and his grandchildren, Kellie, Ricky, Kinsley Ferris, Anna, Clinton, Landon, Kenley, Giana Ferris, Josie, Alex, Lucas, Oaklynn Ferris, Cody, Sierra Ferris, Travis, Hailey Ferris, Ryan, Tayo Sassen, Christopher, Stacie Sassen and Logan Sassen.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A prayer will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the ThePeterson Chapel. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church (300 1st Ave NW, Buffalo, MN 55313).
