With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jane Elisabeth Maxwell of Buffalo, Minnesota, born in Hoffman, Minnesota, who passed away on May 9, 2026 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Jane may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jane touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David Lofgren and Joan Lofgren. She is survived by: her children, Joe Maxwell (Leana) and Jenny Klett (Rob); and her siblings, Mary Erickson (Lon), Sue Oemichen (Brett) and Laurie Lofgren. She is also survived by her nieces, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Lutheran Church (302 2nd St NE, Buffalo, MN 55313). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family kindly requests that memorials be directed to a local animal shelter in honor of Jane's love for animals.
