He was predeceased by: his parents, Palmer Halvorson and Lavina Halvorson (Eide); and his siblings-in-law, Phyllis Ede, Charleen Stark, LeRoy Stark and Ron Ochsendorf.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Stark; his children, Jason (Ellen), Juhl (Marla) and Jolyn; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, John, Sam, Mya and Leah; his sister Mary Ochsendorf; and his brother-in-law Robert Ede. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (1200 MN-25, Buffalo, MN 55313). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials preferred to the Zion Cemetery Fund or the Rotary International Foundation.
