He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Hill and Fanny Hill (Wuottinen); his wife Pirjo; his son John; and his brother Carl.
He is survived by: his cousin John Hill; his children, Leila Godfrey (Geoffrey), Lisa Kuopus (Michael), Sara, Jana Mattila (Chad), Rita Lang (Harley), Eric (Niina), Peter (Suzanne), Tina Hoikka (Carl), Michael (Emily), Paula Vilkama (David) and Hannah Jurmu (Brian); his sister Mary Ann Meredith (Ronald); and his sister-in-law Evelyn Hill. He is also survived by 55 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and dear friends.
Ken spent much of his retirement devoted to the care of Pirjo, who had Parkinson's disease.
