She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Sawatzke and Laura Sawatzke (Baldus); her husband Edward Hoffman; her daughter Cynthia; her grandson Matthew; and her siblings, Marlan Sawatzke, Donald Sawatzke, Doris Sawatzke, Harvey Sawatzke, George Sawatzke (Smokey) and Joseph Sawatzke.
She is survived by: her sons, Bob Hoffman (Robin), Bill Hoffman (Connie) and Bruce Hoffman (Donna-Fay); her grandchildren, Shelly Watters (Doug), Scott Hoffman (Corina), Jeffrey Hoffman, Rachelle Hoffman, Ryan Hoffman (Chelsea) and Keith Hoffman (Alicia); her siblings, Shirley Ponce, Carol Sieg and Floyd Sawatzke; and her sisters-in-law, Evelyn Sawatzke and Pat Sawatzke. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (607 Maple Ave, Waverly, MN 55390). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
