We are sad to announce that on June 8, 2025, at the age of 103, Laura Wittenberg of Buffalo, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends can send flowers and condolences in memory of the loved one. In the sacred silence of farewell, Laura is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Laura's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her husbands, Toivo Leppamaki and John Wittenberg; her stepson John; and her daughter-in-law Pauline. She is survived by: her son Ronald Leppamaki; and her stepchildren, Diane Barber, Vernon (Janet), Paul (Sue) and Carol Jones (Lloyd). She is also survived by 33 grandchildren; 189 great grandchildren, and many great, great grandchildren; several cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Brainerd Laestadian Lutheran Church (1501 S 8th St, Brainerd, MN 56401). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
