He was predeceased by: his parents, Sophie Hammer and Olaf Hammer; his siblings, Virgil (Wilma), Jim, Dick (Lorraine) and Betty (Bill); and his son-in-law Scott Hannah.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his daughters, Kelly Figley (Pat) of Tampa, Stacy Johnson (Don) of Lino Lakes and Julie Hannah of Wyoming; his grandchildren, Colin, Olivia, Noah Figley, Ben, Sam Johnson, Brandon, Meghan and Ryan Hannah; and his brother Lloyd Hammer (Josephine) of England. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Buffalo United Methodist Church (609 8th St NW, Buffalo, MN 55313). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
