With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Alfred Briggs of Buffalo, Minnesota, born in Watertown, South Dakota, who passed away on February 9, 2023 at the age of 53. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Briggs and Paula Briggs (Wirtz); his sister Cindy Briggs; his nephew Victor Briggs; and his grandparents, Alfred, Margaret Briggs, Paul and Ruth Wirtz.

He is survived by: his siblings, Tammy Mashek (Briggs), Sherry Conrad (Paul), Bonita Briggs and Mike Briggs (Loretta) of Watertown; his aunt Donna Briggs; and his grandchildren, Hayden, Austin and Savannah. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
