He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy Mason and Grace Mason (Weirick); his parents-in-law, Wilbert and Inez Zimmermann; and his sons-in-law, Jim Sahli and Dirk Spence.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, Lance Mason, Rhonda Sahli, Dana Mason, Erika Holker (Nathaniel) and Lana Spence; and his grandchildren, Taylor, Madisen, Joshua, Julianne, Lily, Karlie, Madelyn and Robby. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
