It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Steven Bernard Szarke of Buffalo, Minnesota, born in Mankato, Minnesota, who passed away on November 26, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Szarke and Elizabeth Szarke; and his brothers, Joseph Szarke and Roger Szarke. He is survived by : his children, Sara (Patrick Andrews) of Hermantown, MN and Shannon (Brandon Benzer) of Duluth, MN.; his grandchildren, Alison, Quinn Andrews, Finley and Chet Benzer; his siblings, James Szarke (Dianne Rhode), Elizabeth (Donald Skoglund) and John Szarke (Lynn); and his former life partner Patricia Szarke. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
