He was predeceased by : his parents, Albert Verner Olsson and Signe Cecelia Olsson (Norrblom); his wife Joyce; his sister Karen Holmquist Bosacker; and his brother-in-law Willys Holmquist.

He is survived by : his children, Paul Meyer (Laurie), David Meyer (Dawn), Beth Bjork (Robert) and Jeffrey Meyer (Kelly); his grandchildren, Rachel Stevens (Judd), Erik Meyer (Kerstin), Travis Meyer (Dana), Adam Meyer (Aida Naderi), Corey Meyer, Brooke Curb (Josh), Cole Meyer (Claire), Allyson Pearson (Trent), Kristen Penz (Jared), Benjamin Bjork (Erin), Layne Johnson (Elliott), Kurt Meyer (Lucy Bullock) and Weston Meyer; and his brother-in-law Bill Bosacker. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
