She is survived by: her husband Jerry Schmit; her children, Laura Schmit and David Schmit (Åsa); her grandchildren, Alex and Emma; her son Jeffrey Schmit (Kim); and her grandchildren, Samantha, Max and Allie. She is also survived by family, she leaves behind many relatives and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church (302 2nd St NE, Buffalo, MN 55313). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
