Barbara Ruth Sterritt Obituary
The memory of Barbara Ruth Sterritt of Burnsville, Minnesota, who passed away on November 18, 2025 at the age of 97, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband James Lewis Sterritt; her son James Russell Sterritt; her parents, Harold McCullough and Margaret McCullough; and her siblings, Dorothy, Russell, Gary and Richard.
She is survived by: her siblings, Doris Lyon and Don McCollough; her daughters, Carol Barnett, Jean Hayward, Mary Sterritt and Annette Sterritt; and her grandchildren, Carmen Andrews, Jeff Ordonez, Lydia Whitman, Turnis Barnett III, Anna Diehl and Matthew Hayward. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; six great great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421).
