He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Schafer and Lorraine Schafer; and his sister Barbara Ahrens. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Schafer; his daughters, Colleen Kuznik (Todd), Tracy Schafer and Tiffany Schafer (Ross Miller); his grandsons, Jackson and Wyatt Kuznik; and his siblings, Nancy Hartman, Daniel Schafer (Joan) and Michael (Kim).
