With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth D Merz of Burnsville, Minnesota, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on November 30, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Sadie and Minneapolis. She is survived by : her husband Robert; her sons, John (Paula), Michael (Amy) and Patrick (Amy); her brother Charlie (Sharon); and her grandchildren, Tory and Nikki Slawin (Ryan).

In lieu of flowers, donations preferred to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) or Mary, Mother of the Church.

“Our deepest condolences to Bob, her sons and daughter-in-law and grandchildren. She spoke of her love for all of you and counted you as her most wonderful blessings. Elizabeth was the sweetest lady that we met years ago at Daily Mass at St. John Neumann in Eagan. She had a long struggle and would get though each phase with so much grace. We miss her!
