He is survived by: his wife Susan Talbot Hale; his daughters, Laura Strickland (Scott Smolarczyk) of Englewood, CO and Ellen Strickland (William Storck) of Waupaca, WI; his brother Lanny Strickland (Catherine) of Middleburg, Florida; and his grandchildren, Lily Smolarczyk, Liam and Emma Storck. He is also survived by friends and neighbors.
