It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James H. McHugh of Burnsville, Minnesota, born in Litchfield, Minnesota, who passed away on July 12, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank McHugh and Irene McHugh; his wife Dorothy; and his siblings, Gerald McHugh and Mary Francis Bracht.

He is survived by: his children, Michelle Dowell (Mick) and Dan McHugh (Karla); his grandchildren, Courtney (Kenny Pearson), Carley, Luke and Riley; his great grandchild James'Red'Pearson; his siblings, Gene McHugh (Patricia) and Sara Meyer (Randy); and his sister-in-law Geraldine McHugh. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
