He was predeceased by: his father Donald Hamling; and his great-nephew Gabriel Grassi. He is survived by: his mother Donna Hamling (DeZiel); and his siblings, Paul Hamling (Patricia), Janet Olsen (Doug), Nancy Crothers (Timothy) and Thomas Hamling (Suzanne). He is also survived by fifteen nieces and nephews, and twenty-one grandnieces and grandnephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mother of the Church (3333 Cliff Rd E, Burnsville, MN 55337). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, May 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 29th 2027 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Rosemount American Legion Post 65 (14590 Burma Ave W, Rosemount, MN 55068).
