We announce the death of Larry Louis Patterson of Burnsville, Minnesota, who passed away on August 10, 2026, at the age of 88. Larry will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Larry will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Larry will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Larry’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Patterson and Esther Patterson (Brei); his brother Donald; and his son-in-law Andrew Karageorgiou. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn S. Tomaschko; and his children, Carita Hakala (Tom), Lorinda Karageorgiou, Sarah Murphy (Kevin), Renee Bjostad (Jim) and Larry Charles Patterson. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, and many other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family suggests donations be made to Tunnel to Towers, The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, or to the charity of your choice.
