She was predeceased by: her parents, Ival and Elma; her husband John; and her brothers, Wilferd (Kay) and Chell Rex Petty (Sandy).
She is survived by: her children, Paul Erickson (Evi) and Julie Erickson; her grandchildren, Bryan Erickson (Deana) and Apryl Erickson; and her great grandchild Micah.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the River Hills United Methodist Church (11100 River Hills Dr, Burnsville, MN 55337). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials will be donated to River Hills Church, or a church of donor's choice in Leota's name.
