He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Nelson and Annette Ratajczyk; and his siblings, David Nelson and Linda Miller. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Lindsay and Colin; his grandchildren, Ryder, Presley and Luna; his stepparents, Terry and Loretta Ratajczyk; and his siblings, Karen Brehmer (Douglas), Lisa Higgins, Michael Ratajczyk and Michelle Rice (Gordon). He is also survived by in-laws and nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethesda Church (15033 State Hwy 13, Prior Lake, MN 55372). A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
