She was predeceased by: her parents, Evan Blekestad and Bessie Blekestad (Ball); her siblings, JoAnn Anderson, Bernice Lilleodden, Carol Marstone and Gerald Blekestad; her grandson David Nelson; and her stepgrandson Gabriel Madson.
She is survived by: her husband RJ Steinle; her children, Bryan Nelson (Joyce), Steve Nelson and Brenda Steinle; her grandchildren, Khrystie Glassmaker (Ryan), Craig Nelson (Jessica), Sarah Trotter (Andy) and Wade Harrington (Lacey); her great grandchildren, Alexandria, Victoria, David Bentley, Camryn Glassmaker, Vivienne, Amelia, Colton Nelson, Easton, Grayson Trotter, Cohan, Zoey McGuire, Bentley, Beckham and Harbor Harrington; her stepchildren, Jeanne Peterson (Peter) and Bob Willey (Tammy); her stepgrandsons, Jake O'Connell (Emma), Tyler Hinrichs, Alex Madson (Ava), Joe Madson and Elijah Madson (Abby); and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Brigid O'Connell, Arthur and Bennett Madson.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Augustana Lutheran Church - St. James (603 Armstrong Blvd N, St James, MN 56081). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Mennonite Cemetery - Butterfield (35208 640th Ave, Butterfield, MN 56120).
