She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Nick F Pranger and Edith Pranger (Vanderheiden); her husband Bruce Bakken; her sisters, Julie Ann Prida (Emil), Jeloy Freeman (Craig) and Marcia Hall (Dale); her son Kirby Bakken (Ruth); her grandson Alan Bakken (Karen); her great grandchild Darleen; and her grandson Marlow Bakken (Joliene Lindholm).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Olive Presbyterian Church, Platte South Dakota.
