He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Joseph "Fritz" and Lula Mae "Judy" Vandal (Corliss); and his brothers, Jerry, David, Wayne and Dale.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Elaine Newer; his daughter Denise Anne Vandal (Kurt); his grandson Andrew Asleson; and his sister Rosemary Lyman (John) of Montana. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and grandnephews and grandnieces.
A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home.
