He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Burkhardt and Frances Burkhardt (Miller); his son Steffen; and his brother Peter. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Burkhardt (Percival) of Hayfield, MN; his children, Randy Burkhardt (Barb) of Castle Rock, CO, Rachelle Burkhardt of Cheyenne, WY and Robert Burkhardt (Jane); and his sister Catherine Larson of Palm Springs, CA.. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
