With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sharon Johnson (Byron, Minnesota), born in Binghamton, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 14, 2025 at the age of 83. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hill and Margaret Hill; her parents-in-law, Stella and Elmer Johnson; her sister-in-law Gretta Vincent; and her nephew Daniel Rice.
She is survived by: her husband Lauritz Johnson (Ole); her siblings, Kay Smith, Mary Hill of Denver, CO, Jim Hill of Phoenix, AZ, William Hill Jr. (Lisa) of Thailand, Jayne Fay of St. Petersburg, FL and John Hill of Rochester, MN.; her daughter Lisa Black (Andy); her grandchildren, Addie, Emmalee and Braden Black; her daughter Vicki Bruske (Chris); her grandchildren, Jakob and Elliana Bruske; her great grandchild Jason Johnson (Amanda); her grandchildren, Osa and Ike Johnson; and her sisters-in-law, Jane Attlessey and Marcia Young (Fred).
She selflessly wished to donate tissues and organs to science, hoping to contribute to medical advancements that would help others in the future.
