It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Erick JAMES Abnet (Caledonia, Minnesota), who passed away on November 18, 2025, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Greg Abnet and Josephine Abnet (Wieser); his parents-in-law, Paul and Betty Von Arx; his brother Mike; his brothers-in-law, Stuart Reedy and Matt Von Arx; and his nephew Joseph Gregory.

He is survived by: his wife Julie Von Arx; his children, Aaron (Abby Jackson), Olivia Scafe (Aaron) and Braden (Grace Hill); his siblings, Mary Jo Wickus (Scott), Debbie Crane (Curt), Ellen, John (Vicki), Cheryl Boma (Pete), Maureen Wagner (Curt), Paula Rosendahl (Kevin) and Dan; his aunts, Mary Wieser and Penny Abnet; and his uncle David Abnet (Linda). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

The family requests that memorials be given to the Future Farmers of America in Erick's name.
