He was predeceased by: his parents, Rolland Pongratz and Florence Pongratz (Dana); his wife Ruth; his son Dana; his parents-in-law, Oscar and Emma Uischner; his siblings, Joanne Racheff and James Pongratz; and his in-laws, Nick Racheff, Joyce, David Capper, Tom Benjamin and Elden Uischner.
He is survived by: his daughter Peggy Burg (Nick); his grandchildren, Jessica Glasspoole (John), Nicole Dockendorff (Joe), Tyler Pongratz (Katie), Marci Skemp (Adam), Colin Pongratz and Marty Burg; his great grandchildren, Megan, Caitlin Glasspoole, Ruby, Ryan Dockendorff, Kora, Kada Pongratz, Isabel and Owen Skemp; his daughter-in-law Kim Pongratz; and his sister-in-law Agnes Benjamin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
