He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbert "Jake" Diersen and Bernice Diersen (Rud); and his sisters, Diane Holten and Paula Rask. He is survived by: his wife Laura Toomey; his sons, Alex (Samantha) and Abraham (Emily); his grandchildren, Aubree, MaKenna, Isaac Alan and Australian Shepard Eli; his sisters, Donna Myhre (Carl), Joyce Sanness (George), Bonnie Schmitz, Tammy Schiltz (Steve) and Judy Russert; and his in-laws, Dave Holten, Bill Rask, Jane Wohlwend, Mary Prax (Wayne), Joan Strub, Michael Toomey, Patrick Toomey (Irene), Terri Virock (Shawn), Renee Spinner (Michael), Kenny Schmitz, Virgil Wohlwend and Bob Strub.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (307 Iowa Ave S, Eitzen, MN 55931). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
