He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Scanlon and Lillian Scanlon (Fitzmorris); and his siblings, Richard Scanlon (Delores), John Scanlon (Maxine), Sharon Mortenson (Don), Dennis Scanlon (Loretta), Patrick Scanlon and Lenore Weiss.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Scanlon; his children, Theresa Spells (Stephen), JoAnn Murray (Scott), Kirsten Youngren (Matthew) and Trevor Scanlon (Jessica); and his sister Kathy Huber. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
