He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Nelson and Evelyn Nelson (Johnson); his siblings, Leroy, John, Ralph, Maureen Anderson and Sharon Lundin; and his brothers-in-law, Louis Leagjeld and Walter Lundin.
He is survived by: his siblings, JoAnn Leagjeld and James Nelson (Cathy) of Cambridge, MN; his sisters-in-law, Cathy Nelson and Lynn Nelson; his niece Melissa Stauffer (Joe); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Joey and Ella.
