With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Stephen M. Schwarten (Cambridge, Minnesota), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his wife Susan Porter; and his sister Lesley Schmid. He is survived by: his children, Jorie Bauerly (Kurt) of Milaca and Jeffrey Schwarten of Duluth; his grandchildren, Grace and Beau; and his brother James Schwarten of Billings, MT. He is also survived by relatives and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Cambridge Lutheran Church, St. Olaf College (football athletics, biology department or general fund) or the Cambridge Isanti Dollars for Scholars Health Career Scholarship Fund.
