She was predeceased by: her parents, Sverre Mathisen and Nellie Mathisen (Fenstad); her son John Mathisen (Tim); her grandchild Prayer; her husband William Dosland (Bill); her close friend Duane Lindgren (Red); her stepmother Josephine Mathisen (Anderson); and her siblings, Helen Jacobs (George), Edward Mathisen, Benjamin Mathisen (Eleanor) and Sherman Mathisen.
She is survived by: her brother John (Tim) Mathisen (Joan); her children, David Dosland (Shari) and Susan Kamrath (Randy); her grandchildren, Paige Bohne (Joseph), McKenzie Lorenzen (Elliot), Benjamin Kamrath (Dallas), William Kamrath (Dannika), Katherine Swarthout (Kyle) and Matthew Dosland; and her great grandchildren, Aydra Donna Bohne, Livy Lorenzen, Remy Mae Lorenzen, Lux Lorenzen, Reagan Kamrath, Rory Kamrath, Oliver Kamrath, Charlie Kamrath and Hallie Mae Swarthout. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Houseman Funeral Home, Birk Chapel (111 5th St E, Canby, MN 56220). A prayer will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers or gifts of money, the family requests that memorials in Donna's honor be directed to Sanford Hospice at Canby.
