He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie VanMoorlehem (Bogard) and Gus VanMoorlehem; his daughter Peggy Athman (Jeff); his grandson Mark Lambert; and his great grandchild Brandon Strom.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Lund; and his children, Jim VanMoorlehem of Shell Lake, WI, Sandy Lambert (Tom) of Keller, TX, Janice St (Doug), Doug VanMoorlehem (Sue) of Pipestone, MN, Brenda Manes (Gary) of Washburn, ND, Barb Otterson (Bill) of Goodyear, AZ and Darlene Gonnerman (Ray) of Yelm, WA. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Houseman Funeral Home, Birk Chapel (111 5th St E, Canby, MN 56220). A prayer will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:59 AM at the St. Peter's Catholic Church (307 4th St W, Canby, MN 56220).
