We bid farewell to Orval Adolph Ulrich of Canby, Minnesota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 21, 2025 at the age of 83. Orval Adolph touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Ulrich and Evelyn Ulrich (Hagberg); his wife Nancy Anfinson; his sister Kathryn Fiemeyer; and his son-in-law Greg Swedzinski.
He is survived by: his children, Chris Ulrich (Sabrina), Julie Swedzinski and Michelle Buysse (Kevin); his grandchildren, Nicole (Andrew), Natasha (Patrick), Nathaniel (Hannah), Shaun (Amanda), Tara (Taylin), Joshua (Megan), Branden, Nathan (Brooke) and Austin (Kennedy); his great grandchildren, Ashlyn, Kinley, Hadley, Beckett, Harlow, Briar, Mykenzie, Barrett, Hayes, Baily, Clare, Cole, Brynlee, Westin, Rayna, Parker and Baylor; his siblings, Harold Ulrich (Vivian) and Susie Zimmerman (Gary); and his brother-in-law Marvin Fiemeyer. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A prayer will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 6:45 PM at the Horvath Remembrance Center (404 W Lyon St, Marshall, MN 56258). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Lutheran Church (208 W Marshall St, Marshall, MN 56258).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the American Heart Association.
