Heidi Shorter Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Heidi Shorter of Cannon Falls, Minnesota, who passed away on January 12, 2026 at the age of 49. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Richard Shorter; her grandparents, Evelyn, Estel Shorter and Kenneth Swanson; her nephew Craig Shorter; her great-nephew Dawson Sommers; and her pet Midnight.

She is survived by: her mother Kathy Shorter (Swanson) of Cannon Falls; her siblings, Chad Shorter (Kriston) of Cannon Falls and Beckie Shorter (John Catlin) of Hastings; her nieces and nephews, Reece (Alexandra), Carli Jo (Zach), Ashleah (Curtis), Kailey (Josh) and Josie (Chris); and her godfather Arthur Swanson. She is also survived by 17 great nieces and nephews; 1 great-great niece; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
