James K. Olson Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of James K. Olson of Cannon Falls, Minnesota is shared. James, born on May 8, 1937, passed away on August 19, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kermit Olson and Martha Olson (Schaumann); his wives, Elizabeth "Liz" and Ardell Youngberg; his sister Delores Sonstegard; and his brother-in-law Mike Niewind.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Topp (Aaron) and Thomas Olson (Debbie); his grandchildren, Lexy Newby (Timmy) and Dylan Olson; and his siblings, Johnnie Olson (Pat), Elaine Sonstegard (Gary), Kathy Niewind, Verna Burr (Kevin) and Pam Borgerding (Bruce). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Celebration Church (16655 Kenyon Ave, Lakeville, MN 55044). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
