It is with sadness that the passing of Lowell E. Anderson of Cannon Falls, Minnesota is shared. Lowell, born on February 4, 1941, passed away on September 8, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar J. Anderson and Luella M. Anderson (Roisum); his siblings, Betty Jane, Sallee, Dianne, James, Ruthie and Reid; and his brother-in-law Curt VonBargen.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon VonBargen; his children, Lori Otto (Brian) and Jeffrey Anderson (Renea); his grandchildren, Amarah Otto, Ella Otto, Payton Anderson, Cameron Anderson, Mackenzie Dalton, Madeline Schmidt (Adam), Maxwell Dalton and Gracie Anderson; his great grandchildren, Willow, Riley, Henry and Sophie; and his siblings-in-law, Randy Fox and Linda VonBargen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First English Lutheran Church (511 W Belle St, Cannon Falls, MN 55009). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 2:15 PM at the Spring Garden Lutheran Cemetery (10239 County 1 Blvd, Cannon Falls, MN 55009).
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Lowell's name may be made to First English Lutheran Church, the Masonic Cancer Center, and the VFW building project.
