He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Albert and Vivian Albert; his sisters, Joy Albert-Gorr and Kay Albert; his mother-in-law Marlys Harvey; and his sister-in-law Debra Johnson.

He is survived by: his wife Darla Harvey; his children, Kristie Tipton (Gary), Amy Kerstetter (Joe) and Zach; his grandchildren, Charlie and Peyton Tipton; his siblings, Eric Albert (Janice), Todd Albert (Amy) and Beth Wolf (Mike); and his siblings-in-law, Kerry Harvey (Deb), Kevin Johnson and Danette Harvey (John Jax). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
