She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hopkins and Cora Hopkins (Knight); her husband Fred; and her siblings, Kathleen Roberts, Carolyn Swanson, Eula Studler, Cora Lee Smith and Laveda Norris.

She is survived by: her children, Jill Johnson of Cannon Falls and Daniel Johnson (Noel) of Florence, AZ; her stepdaughter Valerie Kahn of Bloomington; her grandchildren, Chad Johnson (Sara), Justine Trokey (Trevor), Jeremiah Johnson and Tatiana Johnson; and her siblings, Doskie Krause of Arkansas and George Hopkins of Canada. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to First Baptist Church, Cannon Falls.
