With solemn reverence, we commemorate Viola F. Fritz of Cannon Falls, Minnesota, born in Steen, Minnesota, whose life came to an end on October 28, 2025 at the age of 93, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerrit Voorst and Vivian Van Voorst; her husband John; and her siblings, Marge Kolbert and Ken Van Voorst.
She is survived by: her sons, Kevin Fritz (Julie) of Garrison and Jim Fritz (Sheri) of Cannon Falls; her grandchildren, Matthew Fritz (Kristine), Ryan Fritz (Jessica), Jenna Sjoblom (Matt) and Holly Fritz; and her great grandchildren, Issac, Eli and Emma Fritz.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Congregational United Church of Christ (220 W Main St W, Cannon Falls, MN 55009). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Cannon Falls Cemetery (721 State St E, Cannon Falls, MN 55009).
Memorials may be given in Viola's memory to the First Congregational Church and the Cannon Falls Food Shelf.
