It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Paul Whalen of Canton, Minnesota, who passed away on January 4, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Whalen and Leona Whalen (Frana); his wife Joan Whalen; and his son Mark Whalen. He is survived by: his sons, Adam Whalen (Abbey) of Mount Vernon and Jason Whalen; his grandchildren, Alice Whalen and Colton Johnson; and his siblings, Kevin Whalen (Della) of Canton, Randy Whalen of Lime Springs and Brenda Holthaus (Allen) of Cresco. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
