He is survived by: his wife Christi Mathson-Carter of Carlos; his daughter Kelly L. Carter-Martinez (Jose) of Pasco, Washington; his granddaughter Alexis Anne Bahena of Pasco, Washington; his great grandchild Angel Martinez; his mother-in-law Inez Mathson; and his siblings-in-law, Brian Mathson, Bruce Mathson (Shelley) and Brenda Nielsen (Jeff).
