It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Geraldine Greta Sortedahl of Carlton, Minnesota, who passed away on April 15, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Dietrich and Greta Grace Weigel (Peterson); her children, Judith Lynn Anderson and Brian Scott Sortedahl; her siblings, Robert Weigel, Ruth Bergstrom, Carol Meyer and Dona Morris; her great grandchild Cooper Lamb; and her great great grandchild Elaine Lamb.

She is survived by : her husband Harland M. Sortedahl; her children, Barbara Soukkala (Allan) of Cloquet, Nancy Zielinski (Gerald) of Centerville and Kraig Sortedahl (Alyson) of Gilbert, Minnesota; and her sister-in-law Esther Weigel. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; countless great-grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren.
