Dick Chastek Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 8, 2025, at the age of 72, Dick Chastek of Cass Lake, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsworth "Bud" Chastek and Pernell Chastek (Opsahl); his brother Gary "Howdy" Chastek; his children, Hildi Bogda and Mike Pagel; and his great grandchild Lucas Heisler.
He is survived by: his daughter Chastidy "Chaz" Chastek (Jeff); his grandchildren, Devin Heisler (Makayla), Desirae Heisler, Delayna Heisler (Joe), Carter Weaver-Heisler and QuinLynn Heisler; his daughter VernaJean Dawson; and his siblings, Larry, Nancy, Brenda and Sheila.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Landmark Baptist Church (133 1st St NW, Cass Lake, MN 56633).
