He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Doris Mae Howard and Ernest Howard, Jr.. He is survived by: his parents, Christina Marie Howard (Fairbanks) and Gene Fairbanks; his siblings, Benjamin (Ben), David "Neptune" Fairbanks, Gina Fairbanks, Doug Wind, Dustin "Dusty" Fairbanks, Derek Fairbanks, Dora Fairbanks and Elizabeth "Lizzy" Fairbanks; his children, Darius Fairbanks, Aliyah and Alexis Fairbanks (Lana Bellanger); and his siblings' children, Miranda Fairbanks, Mya Fairbanks and Benjamin Fairbanks (Lil Ben). He is also survived by family and friends including uncles, aunts and many cousins.
A wake will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Inger Community Center (53714 Co Rd 146, Deer River, MN 56636). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location.
