She was predeceased by: her husband William (Bill); and her son-in-law Terry Howell. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Sarah Swistak (Brent), Megan Magana (Grant), Connor Doerr, Ashley Tyrakoski (Alex Junge), Colton Howell (Kellie), Gage Tyrakoski (Mercedes), Audra Howell, Ryan Jansen (Sydney), Zach Jansen (Chloe) and Beth Jansen (Hunter Haar); her daughters, Mary Howell (Terry), Heidi Jansen (Mike) and Susie Tyrakoski (Ray) of Omaha; and her brother Bob Novak. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, if desired, a memorial gift in honor of Sue may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
