It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Jean Mellesmoen of Champlin, Minnesota, who passed away on July 17, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Smith and Edna Smith (Stroman); her husband Duane LeRoy Mellesmoen; and her siblings, Roger, Larry, Duane, Betty Ann, Janice and Sharon.

She is survived by: her children, Wendy Ulrick (Jim) of Champlin, MN, Neil Mellesmoen (Steph Smrekar) of Eden Prairie, MN and Becky Jaeger (Tom) of Elk River, MN; her grandchildren, Chase Ulrick, Lexie Jaeger, Logen Jaeger and Levi Jaeger; and her siblings, Linda, Diane, Debi, Barb Dvorak (Steve) and Denny (Mary). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
